How to Explode a Traditional Offline MLM Business Using Online Marketing Strategies!
Are you part of an MLM offline business but had a difficult time getting in front of people to take a look at it? How difficult is it to get in front of people when you have other obligations – let’s say a 9-5 job? How about following up with potential business partners but due to time zone differences are not able to connect effectively?
Many people looking at the internet these days are doing so for the opportunity to make money. These are honest, hard-working people who may currently have a job and are either working or searching for alternative ways to supplement their income.
What many find are 2 options:
1) joining a traditional offline MLM business or
2) find an internet opportunity to promote specifically on the internet.
Many people really just choose one or the other but don’t realize that there is a tremendous opportunity for success in combining both offline and online marketing strategies to build their MLM business.
Historically 95% of the people who joined an MLM business have failed because:
* They run out of prospects to talk to.
* They don’t know how to generate leads to their business.
* They are not given effective training in BOTH offline and online marketing.
* They don’t have a system in place to follow up with people on different time zones than their own or with prospects in a different country.
So how then does this connect with building an MLM business using the internet?
For starters, one can have a system of videos and other resources in place that can filter out people who may or may not be qualified for the MLM business being promoted. This is what’s done typically face to face with a potential prospect. They are asked a series of questions in order to determine if the MLM business being presented is even right for them. With the internet, if setup properly, it can do some of this filtering automatically.
This being in effect, only those that have been through the sales funnel and have continued in the process, are really the ones that are interested in the MLM business being offered. These are the qualified prospects for the business. They have a better understanding of what the business entails and are more likely to join the business. Not only that, but those who have responded are placed into a follow up system where they are kept in communication over a period of time. This allows someone to join the MLM business at a later date that is appropriate for them. Unlike traditional methods, contact with these prospects can fall through the cracks over time and are not likely to be simultaneously contacted when new information is transmitted.
Working an offline MLM business the traditional way has its limitations, but with the proper use of various internet resources and strategies, one can have an automated system following up with potential prospects even when one is sleeping. Not only will this system stay in contact with potential prospects in different time zones, but you can set it up in such a way as to have a training resource for people to be coached about the business. This is a powerful leverage tool to train and duplicate the MLM business at various levels.
Please note that MLM businesses are people businesses so there will always be a need to speak directly with interested people. Using the internet is a tool to attract and contact interested people into the business who have already been filtered through the system. These people, when contacted, will be more ready to speak and take the next step.
There is a wave presently occurring in the MLM industry where savvy marketers are learning to combine their offline marketing strategies with online marketing strategies that are taking their businesses to new heights.
